Questions

What counts as one call?

One answer we serve. One visa check run in the widget, or one API call that returns data. Both draw from the same monthly balance. Loading the widget without running a check does not count.

Can I use both the widget and the API?

Yes. Every plan includes the embed code and an API key, and we encourage using both. A blog can run the widget for readers while its app calls the API, all on one balance.

What happens if I go over my limit?

On Free, calls stop at 500 until the next month. On paid plans, calls keep flowing and extra usage is billed per 1,000 calls at your plan's overage rate: $2.00 on Publisher, $1.50 on Business. We alert you at 80% and 100% of your balance.

Does removing branding remove the source link?

No. Business removes the QuickTravelTools logo. The official source link stays on every answer at every tier. It is how your readers can check the rule themselves, and it is the reason the data can be trusted.

Is the data the same everywhere?

The core rules are identical on every plan and on the site itself, re-verified daily against official government sources. Business adds depth on top: fees, processing times, insurance mandates, upcoming changes and more.

Why is the site free?

Travelers are how the data gets better: every search tells us which routes to verify first. Websites and products pay for the data. Travelers never do.

Do you track my readers?

No cookies, no fingerprinting. We count calls so your balance has a limit. That is it.

Not sure which plan you need?

Start free with 500 calls. When you outgrow it, pick the plan that fits and keep the same key.
