Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-17
This policy covers paid QuickTravelTools plans (Publisher and Business) and forms part of our Terms of Service. The free tools on quicktraveltools.com and the Free plan are charged nothing, so there is nothing to refund for them.
Who charges you
Paid plans are sold through Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Paddle runs the checkout, charges your payment method, handles sales tax and VAT, and issues your invoices and receipts. Your statement will show Paddle as the seller. Approved refunds are returned by Paddle to your original payment method.
What you are buying
A paid plan is a digital service that starts as soon as your payment succeeds: your account is upgraded, your call balance is credited, and the data is delivered continuously for the whole billing period. Because access is provided immediately, a billing period that has started is treated as supplied once it begins.
Cancelling stops renewal, and is always free
- You can cancel at any time, from your console billing page or the Paddle customer portal, or by emailing [email protected]. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term beyond the period you have already paid for.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your plan, keys and remaining balance keep working until that date, then your account returns to Free.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. Cancelling before the renewal date is how you avoid the next charge.
- Monthly balances do not roll over, and unused calls expire at the end of each billing period, as stated on the pricing page.
When we refund in full
- Billing errors: duplicate charges, a charge for the wrong amount, or a charge made after a cancellation that took effect before the renewal date.
- We could not provide the service: we fail to activate your plan after payment and cannot fix it promptly, or we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue the Service, we give at least 30 days notice by email and a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees for the unused period.
- Where the law requires it: nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation right you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
If something else has gone wrong, email us within 14 days of the charge and explain it. We review every request on its facts, and where the service did not work as described we will make it right, including a refund where that is the fair outcome.
What is not refundable
- A billing period that has already started, if you simply change your mind, no longer need the plan, or did not use your balance. You keep full access until the period ends when you cancel.
- Overage charges for calls the Service actually served, at the per-1,000 rate for your plan shown on the pricing page. We email usage alerts at 80% and 100% of your balance so overage never arrives unannounced.
- A renewal charge where the subscription was still active on the renewal date because cancellation had not been completed beforehand.
- Any period of a plan suspended or ended for a breach of the Terms of Service, except where the law requires otherwise.
How to ask, and how refunds are paid
- Email [email protected] from your account email, with the charge date and amount. We answer within 2 business days.
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Paddle. Your bank or card issuer controls how long it then takes to appear, typically 5 to 10 business days.
- If a refund covers a full current period, the paid plan ends when the refund is processed and the account returns to Free.
- Opening a payment dispute or chargeback with your bank does not cancel your subscription. Please contact us first: most billing problems are errors we can fix faster, and cancel separately if you also want the plan to end.
Price changes
If a plan price changes, the new price applies from your next renewal after notice by email at least 14 days in advance. If you do not accept it, cancel before that renewal date and you will not be charged the new price.
