} Why build on it
Checked every morning
Our daily scan re-verifies routes against official sources across 199 passports and 220 destinations. Confirmed changes go live the same day, with the source linked.
Every answer shows its work
Each rule carries the official source it came from, so you can trace any answer back to the announcement, gazette, or embassy page it is based on.
One dataset, every surface
The API reads the same data as quicktraveltools.com and our embed widget. An answer here can never disagree with an answer there.
Don't take our word for it.
Every rule change we have ever made is logged in public, with the date and the source. That log is the product as much as the data.
Endpoints

GET /api/visa?list=countries
The full directory: 220 countries, and the 199 passports we hold data for.
GET /api/visa?list=destinations&from=US
Every destination we cover for one passport. Useful for building pickers and filters.

Questions
- Is this the same data as quicktraveltools.com?
- Yes. The API, the site, and the embed widget all read the same dataset. An answer here can never disagree with an answer there.
- What does "verified daily" mean?
- Every morning our scan checks travel news and official sources for rule changes across 199 passports. Confirmed changes ship the same day and are logged in the public change log.
- What happens when a rule changes?
- We update the dataset, the API serves the new rule right away, and the change is logged with its source. Dated changes, like exemptions that expire, are scheduled in advance.
- Do I need an API key?
- Not to try it. On a plan, yes: every plan includes a key, and your API calls and embed lookups draw from one shared balance.
Build on data you can defend.
The API is live right now. Send a request today, no key needed. If a customer ever asks where a rule came from, you will have the source link ready.
